Scholarship At Sharda University

 About :

The Name of Our University is a Synonym for “Goddess Saraswati “. She is identified with 'veena' an Indian musical instrument and the 'lotus' where she resides. The lotus in our logo symbolizes the seat of learning that the University is created for. Variety of colors signify the variety of disciplines the university offers and the overlap between petals creating new colors demonstrate the ethos of collaboration between students and teachers of different courses, nationality, creed and color working towards creating new knowledge.

Sharda University announces scholarships worth Rs 20 crores. Opportunity for up to 100% scholarships for meritorious students for various courses including B.Tech, BBA, MBA, B.Com, Journalism and Mass Communication, and integrated LLB.
 

Placement and Placement Policy in Sharda University Students

    Purpose

The purpose of the placement policy is to define the overall structure & processes of the placement cell, and to structure the roles & responsibilities of the teams working on this process of placement cell.
The policy will ensure that-
  • Maximum number of students get on-campus placement
  • Deserving candidates can have the opportunity to start their career with their preferred company
  • To maintain the quality standards of the jobs offered
  • To ensure that the whole team work according to the defined processes to achieve the common objective

    Scope

    This policy relates to all Engineering, Management & other courses which is a part of any program coordinated by the University and for which-
    • Students will be assessed
    • Completion is required for an award of the University degree
    • Campus recruitment is meant only for the Students of Final year.

      Placement Support

      • Maintaining regular interaction with the industry through Seminars, Guest Lectures, Conferences, Corporate Meets etc
      • Planning and organizing On-Campus as well as Off-Campus recruitment activities
      • Providing assistance to the students for completing summer training projects
      • Providing requisite training to students in the area of Personality Development and Communication Skills
      • Developing database of students and presenting their curriculum to various industries

Raanjhanaa Promotion in Sharda University

A huge crowd of Sharda University students welcomed Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush for the promotion of their film Raanjhanaa. We wish them good luck for their film.
Sonam and Dhanush were in the Capital on Friday for the promotion of their upcoming film, Raanjhnaa. They visited Sharda university and have shared about upcoming movie Raanjhnaa also had conversation with the University students. Sharda University is also active in other activities too.

A Great Initiative By Sharda University

Sharda University (SU), Delhi NCR and IBM (NYSE: IBM), launched a collaborative full time MBA Program in Business Analytics in line with the vision to develop multi-disciplinary skills in India.

A definitive agreement has been signed to jointly develop the curriculum of the program for better industry alignment and to deliver the content and courses along with experts from IBM.
Sharda University has also set up an IBM Business Analytics Lab under Career Education for Business Transformation (CEBT) program that provides students and faculty members access to the relevant Business Analytics software tools and technology along with industry content using live case studies and scenarios from IBM. As part of this initiative, IBM will also be conducting training sessions for SU faculty members and students on advanced analytics.
The aim of this program is to create future managers and leaders who understand the value of businesses by not only having a data-oriented outlook but also to support the growing need of Big Data Analytics in enterprises today.
Besides MBA Program in Business Analytics, Sharda University also aims to nurture their Under Graduate students in BBA and B.Com Professional Courses by providing them hands-on training in the fundamental areas of Business Analytics, which will help them develop an appreciation of data analytics field and make meaningful career decisions.

Brands On E Advertising

Sharda University has awarded its creative duties to Brands On E Advertising. The agency won the business after a multi-agency pitch, where three other agencies had participated.
The creative requirements of the educational institution were handled by a local agency called Adwell Advertising earlier.

We liked the creative works shown by the agency and our expectation matched theirs. Hence, we chose to partner with them, the while Sharda University is already a brand, it wants to create more awareness and that's where the agency will come to play. Brands On E is expected to handle print, online and outdoor creatives for the private university.

While the university's digital requirements are taken care of by an internal team, its media duties are handled by Adwell Advertising. In another 10 days, the university is scheduled to launch its outdoor and radio campaigns. The overall marketing spends of the university are Rs 20 crore per annum.

Sharda University is a part of the Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI). It is spread across 63 acres of land in Greater Noida. The campus houses multi disciplinary courses and has a total student base of 8,000, of which more than 1,000 are foreign students from 34 countries, Bhagria reveals.
